ISIS plotting 25 terror attacks on Britain

Big Ben UK

UK Security officials are tracking up to 50 British jihadists 24 hours a day with “intense scrutiny” amid fears they could be about to unleash a wave of terror in Britain.

The terrifying claims by intelligence sources come as a former British intelligence officer admitted it was “a case of not if but when” ISIS terrorists strike at home.

MI5 is tracking the plots by “hardcore jihadists” but are struggling with limited resources.

The counter-terror officers are working around the clock to prevent an attack on the scale of Paris or Brussels taking place in Britain.

Investigators fear “sleeper cells” could be awaiting orders at a moment’s notice to carry out plots.

These cells are often small, tight-knit groups that can more easily evade MI5’s network of tipsters monitoring mosques and radical meetings.

Militants in these cells are usually simply awaiting a green light to strike and could attack without any warning to security forces.

Security experts fear in the wake of Paris and Brussels atrocities that London could now be next.

A former British intelligence officer said: “Everyone in the counter-terrorism community believes an attack in Britain will take place.”

There are at least 450 extremists “of concern to counter-terror officials” throughout the UK.

armed police londonMany have returned from the conflict in Syria and others have been radicalised at home.

The intelligence source added: “The pace of investigations to try and stop this happening is extremely dynamic and fast-moving.

“There is no respite and no sign of the threat to Britain going away.

“The shocking thing about what happened in Paris and the ongoing situation in Brussels is their ability.

“They have shown a high degree of organisation – more than was previously suspected – a strong logistical chain, the ability to get the material needed, guns, explosives, planning.”

Since 2014, Britain has been as a “severe” threat of an attack from extremists, meaning a bombing or shooting on our streets is “highly likely”.

This threat level is one stage away from the top alert state of “critical” which means there is credible intelligence that an attack is imminent.

MSMRadical islamVideo Video: ISIS terror in the heart of Europe. You can’t cure a disease without knowing its cause

Everyone knows that what happened in Brussels was only a dress-rehearsal for even more ghastly atrocities in the near future. All over Europe and North America, the political elite are falling over themselves to condemn the terrorists and to call for even more sweeping restrictions on the freedoms of ordinary citizens under the guise of their ‘War on Terror’.

Yet, as this video explains, the whole thing is a FAKE. Because the terrorism they whine about and use as an excuse to build a totalitarian police state is the direct product of their own wicked foreign policy. If they really want to ‘stop terror’ and ‘stop the refugee flood’, they need to stop destabilising other people’s countries and to stop thinking that they can unleash rabid terrorist dogs without their own people getting bitten.

As usual, you’re not going to see these blunt truths on the BBC, Sky or NBC, but they’re truths nevertheless.

Muslim hackers infiltrate water utility’s control system, change levels of chemicals used to treat tap water

The location of the utility has not been revealed and its name has been changed in Verizon’s report, but given the fact of Verizon’s involvement, this likely happened in the U.S. — all the other incidents discussed in the report linked in The Register’s article took place in America. And we know that jihadis have long wanted to poison the water supply. As far back as 2002, the feds arrested two jihadis who were carrying plans about how to poison water supplies. In 2003, al-Qaeda threatened to poison water supplies in Western countries. In 2011, a jihadi in Spain likewise planned to poison water supplies.

And in May 2013, seven Muslim “chemical engineers” were caught trespassing at the Quabbin Reservoir, a key supply of water for Boston, after midnight. Only months later and indirectly did we hear that it was a “criminal matter.” A month later, locks were cut at the aqueduct that supplies water to Greater Boston.

Also in May 2013, jihadists were caught in Canada who had considered poisoning air and water to murder up to 100,000 people. In October 2013, the FBI was investigating a possible water supply threat in Wichita. In January 2014, a Muslim broke into a water treatment plant in New Jersey.

“Water treatment plant hacked, chemical mix changed for tap supplies,” by John Leyden, The Register, March 24, 2016 (thanks to Marc):

Hackers infiltrated a water utility’s control system and changed the levels of chemicals being used to treat tap water, we’re told.

The cyber-attack is documented in this month’s IT security breach report (available here, registration required) from Verizon Security Solutions. The utility in question is referred to using a pseudonym, Kemuri Water Company, and its location is not revealed.

A “hacktivist” group with ties to Syria compromised Kemuri Water Company’s computers after exploiting unpatched web vulnerabilities in its internet-facing customer payment portal, it is reported.

The hack – which involved SQL injection and phishing – exposed KWC’s ageing AS/400-based operational control system because login credentials for the AS/400 were stored on the front-end web server. This system, which was connected to the internet, managed programmable logic controllers (PLCs) that regulated valves and ducts that controlled the flow of water and chemicals used to treat it through the system. Many critical IT and operational technology functions ran on a single AS400 system, a team of computer forensic experts from Verizon subsequently concluded.

Our endpoint forensic analysis revealed a linkage with the recent pattern of unauthorised crossover. Using the same credentials found on the payment app webserver, the threat actors were able to interface with the water district’s valve and flow control application, also running on the AS400 system. We also discovered four separate connections over a 60-day period, leading right up to our assessment.During these connections, the threat actors modified application settings with little apparent knowledge of how the flow control system worked. In at least two instances, they managed to manipulate the system to alter the amount of chemicals that went into the water supply and thus handicap water treatment and production capabilities so that the recovery time to replenish water supplies increased. Fortunately, based on alert functionality, KWC was able to quickly identify and reverse the chemical and flow changes, largely minimising the impact on customers. No clear motive for the attack was found.

Verizon’s RISK Team uncovered evidence that the hacktivists had manipulated the valves controlling the flow of chemicals twice – though fortunately to no particular effect. It seems the activists lacked either the knowledge of SCADA systems or the intent to do any harm.

The same hack also resulted in the exposure of personal information of the utility’s 2.5 million customers. There’s no evidence that this has been monetised or used to commit fraud.

Nonetheless, the whole incident highlights the weaknesses in securing critical infrastructure systems, which often rely on ageing or hopelessly insecure setups….

Belgium: Imams refuse to pray for the souls of the non-Muslim victims of Brussels jihad massacre

“It is not for the Prophet and those who have believed to ask forgiveness for the polytheists, even if they were relatives, after it has become clear to them that they are companions of Hellfire.” (Qur’an 9:113)

“There has already been for you an excellent pattern in Abraham and those with him, when they said to their people, ‘Indeed, we are disassociated from you and from whatever you worship other than Allah. We have denied you, and there has appeared between us and you animosity and hatred forever until you believe in Allah alone’ except for the saying of Abraham to his father, ‘I will surely ask forgiveness for you, but I have not for you anything against Allah. Our Lord, upon You we have relied, and to You we have returned, and to You is the destination.” (Qur’an 60:4) This means that Abraham is an “excellent pattern,” someone to be imitated, when he says that there is “between us and you animosity and hatred forever until you believe in Allah alone,” but Abraham is not an excellent pattern, and not to be imitated, when he says he will pray that Allah forgive them.

“Belgian Imams Refuse to Pray for Souls of Non-Muslim Victims of Brussels Attacks,” MEMRI, March 26, 2016:

According to the UAE-based Al-Ghad Al-Arabi TV channel, the council of Belgian imams rejected a recent initiative to pray for the souls of the victims of the Brussels terror attacks on the grounds that praying for non-Muslims ran counter to Islamic law. In the report, which aired on March 26, Sheikh Abdelhadi Sewif, Chief Imam of the Great Mosque of Brussels, said that one could get around this by avoiding the word “prayer” and calling it a show of solidarity with the families.

Following are excerpts

Voice of reporter: Once again, Belgian mosques find themselves in the midst of a controversy, following an initiative by an official institution to hold a prayer for the souls of the victims of the Brussels attacks. This initiative was rejected by the council of imams, on the grounds that this runs counter to the Islamic shari’a,and that such a prayer can be held only for the souls of Muslims.

Sheikh Abdelhadi Sewif, imam of the Great Mosque of Brussels: We cannot pray over the souls of non-Muslims, but if we do this, we don’t have to call it a prayer. We can call it something else: “solidarity with the families of the victims.” We can stand by them and support them.

Imam Mohammad Ghali: There is disagreement about this among the scholars and the public. [Some] say that it is prohibited to pray for the souls of non-Muslims. But since this was a general event, in which Muslims as well as non-Muslims [were hurt], we address all of the victims, and wish them peace, mercy, and health.

Horrific rise of brutal ‘breast ironing’ – in BRITAIN

Girls as young as 10 years old are at risk of the abhorrent practice of breast ironing in Britain, campaigners warned.

The brutal procedure, where a girl’s breasts are beaten and burned to stop them from developing, could be “endemic” in some UK communities.

The cruel practice is usually carried out using hot objects by mothers and other female relatives to ‘protect’ girls from rape, harassment and pregnancy.

Breast-ironing, which is understood to have originated in Cameroon, is believed to have affected up to 1,000 young girls in Britain.

The ritual also takes place in Nigeria, Benin and Chad but is on the rise in Birmingham and London.

Speaking in a House of Common’s debate, MP Jake Berry called for breast ironing to be given the same statutory recognition as female genital mutilation (FGM) so that health professionals are required to have training and look out for the signs.Mr Berry said: “Recent press coverage has said that it is endemic and experts believe that the custom is being practiced among the several thousand Cameroonians now living in the UK.”

However, the Home Office is reluctant to make breast ironing a specific offence.

Home Office minister Karen Bradley said police could use other offences to tackle the issue, including common assault, child cruelty and grievous bodily harm.

Ms Bradley added: “What we’re talking about is child abuse. It is illegal, it is a crime, and it is not acceptable.”

Breast ironing often goes unnoticed because it is usually carried out by family members and girls’ breasts are rarely examined by health professionals at a young age.Mr Berry said a dangerous lack of knowledge among child protection agencies was leaving young girls at risk from breast ironing – with 23 per cent not trained to deal with the procedure.

One in seven police forces have never heard of the practice.

Ms Bradley said “certain professionals” do not have the confidence to question harmful child abuse happening in the UK due to “cultural sensitivities”.She added: “This is simply not the case and we need to give those professionals the confidence to know that this is something that they should be looking for, that they know what the signs are and that they take action.”

The Metropolitan police is currently trying to establish areas where girls could be at risk of the procedure.
